This app serves as an effective route planner and tour companion for cycling along the Weser Cycle Path. It incorporates all the information provided in the Weser Cycle Path service booklet, detailing routes and points of interest (POIs) along the way. The app offers offline storage capabilities, allowing access to these resources even without mobile reception after download. Users can engage interactively with multimedia content while cycling from the Weser Uplands to the North Sea, experiencing diverse natural landscapes along the route from the low mountain range (Weser Uplands) through the North German Plain (Middle Weser) to the marshes at the Lower Weser and in Cuxland at the North Sea.

How It Works:

The app guides users individually along the Weser Cycle Path. Simply begin at any point with an appropriate stage tour and follow the route using your smartphone’s GPS reception. The GPS navigation function allows for precise location tracking on the maps at any time. Additionally, selected accommodation options are available near each stage of the tour.

Important Notes:

A 3G/4G connection is recommended for a fast internet connection. In areas with weak network coverage or to avoid high international roaming charges, offline storage is an option: save your data prior to your trip using a reliable Wi-Fi connection. Please note that especially maps require considerable storage space; it may be advisable to download only shorter individual stages each day via Wi-Fi in hotels. Public Wi-Fi networks are available in several locations along the Weser Cycle Path, such as tourist information centers, restaurants, and various hotels.
